Actalent is seeking a dedicated QA/QC Inspector to join our team. The role focuses on maintaining excellent relationships with clients, contractors, and design teams while conducting daily site inspections to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, and codes. Responsibilities
Maintain excellent relationships with clients, building occupants, contractors, and design teams. Conduct daily site inspections to verify compliance with approved plans, specifications, and codes. Coordinate with clients/owners, consultants, contractors, designers, and regulatory agencies. Prepare and manage daily reports. Review the contractor's schedule and ensure labor compliance. Coordinate 3rd‑party special material testing inspections. Review and provide input on potential change order issues. Maintain and manage project records and photographic documentation. Verify field surveys and report on project issues, providing status updates. Essential Skills
Strong communication skills for interaction with owners and general contractors. Experience in creating daily reports and reviewing reports from general contractors and subcontractors. Knowledge and background in reading blueprints and spec sheets. US citizenship required. Experience in quality control, construction management, and federal construction projects. Ability to work well with others and a willingness to learn in a team environment. Additional Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations with a 30HR OSHA Safety card required prior to start. Strong computer skills, including experience with Windows Office and construction management software. Experience working on projects in occupied buildings. Experience as an inspector on projects greater than $5M in value, including structural components. Work Environment
The position is based on‑site in Baltimore, working with a construction management firm for the GSA. This role offers the opportunity to work on a 5‑year program and build a long‑term relationship with a top‑tier Federal construction management firm. Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $40.00 – $50.00/hr.
