What You’ll Do Responsible for ensuring all drivers are in compliance with DOT and USX rules and regulations.
Contact applicants to obtain missing application information
Ensure applicant meets USX hiring guidelines and DOT regulations while reviewing and ordering reports such as MVR, PSP, DAC, Asuriant, Driver IQ Pre, etc.
Verify background information including driving record, employment history, and convictions
Investigate and address any discrepancies with driver history or driver application
Review the results of driver physicals and drug screens to determine eligibility
Ensure that contents of driver files are complete, up to date, and in the correct order
Evaluate driver’s file to identify potential disqualifiers and notify management
Work closely with Recruiting and Driver Orientation departments to complete the evaluation process within the 3‑day orientation period
Procure or obtain necessary consumer reports and releases; collaborate in‑person with all levels of the organization
Attend all in‑person meetings and trainings on recent developments, goals, and objectives and participate in such discussions by offering input and advice
Regularly engage remotely and in‑person with customers and potential customers to establish rapport, open communication and expectations
What We’re Looking For Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
6 months of experience in a related field preferred
Skills/Certifications
Excellent oral, written, and organizational skills
Basic computer and office skills required; experience with Microsoft Office suite
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to multi‑task and consistently meet deadlines
Good judgment and problem‑solving skills
