Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced
Quality Control Inspector
to monitor and ensure the quality of products manufactured in our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and measuring materials and products to ensure they meet specified standards and are free of defects.
Schedule
1st shift: Monday - Friday. Weekly Pay.
Key Responsibilities
Perform in-process and final inspections of manufactured parts and products. Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring instruments. Record inspection results and prepare inspection reports and documentation. Identify, document, and report non-conformances or deviations from specifications. Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action processes. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues. Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulations. Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to quality and production processes.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
Mechanical inspection background. AS9100 knowledge. Knowledge of PPAP, FAIRS, and CMM. High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification is a plus. 3+ years of experience in quality control or inspection in a manufacturing environment. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality standards. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
