Overview We are seeking a full‑time, in‑house Walmart Item Setup, Apparel Operations & Analytics Lead with direct, hands‑on experience supporting Walmart suppliers or the Walmart Home Office. This role will own end‑to‑end item creation, maintenance, and troubleshooting across Walmart US Stores and E‑commerce, ensuring speed, accuracy, and alignment from initial setup through go‑live and execution. It is a hands‑on role, not just oversight. The ideal candidate has deep familiarity with Walmart Retail Link, Supplier One and AEX, understands apparel‑specific item complexity and is comfortable owning decisions, resolving issues and supporting internal teams with both system expertise and data‑driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
Own end‑to‑end item creation and maintenance in Walmart Item 360
Set up and maintain items including:
GTINs / UPCs
Item hierarchy, attributes and pack configurations
Store vs. E‑commerce items
Manage item updates, revisions, retirements, and seasonal transitions
Monitor item approval status, troubleshoot errors and rejections and drive timely go‑live
Ensure accuracy and alignment across Retail Link, AEX, item master data, and internal systems
Apparel Operations & Execution
Support apparel‑specific item requirements, including size scales, colorways, seasonal assortments, and carry‑forward styles
Partner closely with Merchandising, Design, Tech Design, Production, Logistics, and Compliance to ensure item setup supports execution
Support pack configuration changes and align item setup with production, labeling, carton markings, and shipping
Proactively identify and resolve item‑related risks that could impact MABD, replenishment, or E‑commerce execution
Prepare and distribute weekly sales reports for Walmart Retail and E‑commerce
Analyze sales, sell‑through, inventory, and performance by style, color, size, and channel
Identify trends, risks, and opportunities and summarize insights for internal leadership and merchant discussions
Support merchant recaps, line reviews, and internal presentations with accurate data and clear insights
Ensure content accuracy across reports, decks, and item‑related communications
Cross‑Functional Leadership & Process Improvement
Serve as the internal point of contact for item setup accuracy, troubleshooting, and reporting
Communicate directly with Walmart merchants and internal stakeholders to resolve issues
Build and maintain SOPs and best practices for item setup, analytics, and system workflows
Implement checks and controls to reduce errors, rework, and dependency on external resources
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience supporting Walmart item setup on the supplier side or at Walmart Home Office
Hands‑on expertise with Item 360, AEX, and apparel items including size scales, colorways, seasonal flow, and pack configurations
Strong understanding of Walmart item hierarchy, attributes, and common setup errors
Proven experience creating weekly sales reports and analytics
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting both Walmart US Stores and E‑commerce
Familiarity with compliance, labeling, and packaging execution
Experience supporting large‑scale seasonal launches or line reviews
