We are looking for a highly motivated and customer‑centric Healthcare Coordinator to partner with our dentists and secure financial commitment from patients. The role is focused on educating patients, overcoming objections, and keeping dentists’ schedules productive while ensuring a perfect patient experience.
Responsibilities
Models company culture, values, standards, and best operational practices based on the We Believe Behavioral Framework.
Gain a financial commitment from the patient to begin the dentistry the dentist is diagnosing.
Achieve proficiency in PDS system and tools and assist patients in making the best decision for their wants and needs.
Execute the HC handoff in partnership with each clinician for every exam patient.
Act as a subject matter expert on all available financial options to give patients choices that fit their budget.
Professional overcome common patient objections to starting treatment.
Obtain necessary insurance pre‑authorizations for patients who need them prior to completing treatment.
Ensure the office exemplifies the Comprehensive Care Model within and outside the office.
Participate in daily morning huddles, monthly team meetings, and other meetings as required.
Understand business imperatives and how the role directly impacts metrics and results.
Demonstrate stewardship of the PDS Brand and make decisions consistent with the PDS Brand framework.
Become knowledgeable on the Mouth‑Body Connection and support clinical excellence through comprehensive patient care.
Maintain an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with company policies; address others professionally and respectfully.
Ensure compliance with company policies and all relevant state, federal, and regulatory bodies.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Travel might be required between offices.
Preferred
Prior coursework or on‑the‑job training in dentistry, insurance, or business.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of office practices, technology applications, and patient insurances.
Results oriented, energetic self‑starter, sets realistic goals.
