Base pay range $25.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair diesel engines in heavy equipment and semi‑truck machinery.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and inspections.
Troubleshoot and identify mechanical and electrical issues in diesel engines.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to ensure accurate assessments and efficient repairs.
Collaborate with the service team to prioritize and complete work orders.
Keep accurate records of repairs, parts usage, and labor hours.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Diesel Technician, preferably in a trucking/heavy equipment setting.
Strong knowledge of diesel engines and their components.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment.
Detail‑oriented with excellent troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Effective communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
Relevant certifications or training in diesel engine repair.
