Director, Critical Facilities Systems
Fleet Data Centers invites a seasoned leader to own the operations and digital systems that keep 24/7 data center campuses safe, secure, and available. The role reports to the Executive Leadership Team and drives the centralized Critical Facilities Operations Center (CFOC), Network Operations Center (NOC), and platform toolchain.
Responsibilities
Lead the CFOC staffing model, training, qualification, and shift‑lead structure to sustain calm, disciplined execution.
Own alarm strategy governance and monitoring for new sites and expansions, ensuring operational readiness and high‑quality escalation paths.
Direct the NOC staffing, tooling, and procedures, coordinating with carriers, vendors, and internal engineering to restore connectivity swiftly.
Administer day‑to‑day operations for DCIM/BMS/EPMS/SCADA, CMMS, and ticketing/ITSM platforms, driving upgrades, integrations, and data governance.
Define, report, and act on KPIs for tool health and operations center performance, driving continuous improvement and post‑incident reviews.
Support audits and compliance by safeguarding operational data, logs, and evidence.
Qualifications
10+ years in mission‑critical operations, with 5+ years in 24/7 NOC/command center leadership.
Hands‑on experience owning DCIM/BMS, CMMS, and ticketing/ITSM systems with strong change‑control discipline.
Deep knowledge of BMS/EPMS/SCADA alarming, network operations concepts, and incident management.
Proven ability to scale and lead shift‑based teams, delivering measurable safety, security, and availability outcomes.
Strong cross‑functional communication and stakeholder alignment across Operations, IT, Network, Security, and Customer teams.
Willingness to travel to Fleet sites as needed.
Location: Denver, CO; Seattle, WA; Arlington, VA – flexible travel required. Salary: $205,000 – $245,000 plus bonus. Benefits include 100% employer‑covered medical, dental, vision, 401K, paid holidays, and unlimited PTO.
