Metallic Coating Technician — Sylmar, CA
Pay:
$27.42 hourly
Shift:
1st, 5:00am-1:30pm, Monday–Friday

Primary Responsibilities
Manufacturing production workers focus on setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production (i.e., vacuum chamber coating, organic coating, stripping, etc.).
Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard, or re‑manufacture faulty products.
Load & unload racks of parts, touchup/rework, process rejects, and operate hand tools where necessary.
Perform daily preventive maintenance checklist inspections in the area.
Material handling of glass, acrylic, coatings, and acids.
Work order documentation, record keeping, and data analysis.
Qualifications
Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to push/pull 51 lbs or more.
Prior experience in vacuum chambers (a plus).
Prior experience in thin film deposition (a plus).
Prior experience in aerospace transparencies (a plus).
