Position Overview We are looking for a mid political/military analyst to join our team at DIA with INDOPACOM experience.

Responsibilities

Produce all‑source intelligence analysis on foreign militaries in a fast‑paced environment.

Maintain responsibility for daily production by authoring intelligence updates on worldwide defense issues and threat warnings.

Use analytic tradecraft to research traffic, collaborate with other intelligence community analysts, and write concise summaries and slide decks for senior defense leaders.

Leverage expertise in intelligence writing to create client‑ready deliverables under strict deadlines and minimal supervision.

Identify analytic gaps and shortfalls while maintaining situational awareness of dynamic client needs and global developments.

Required Qualifications

3+ years of experience in military capability analysis.

Knowledge of the INDOPACOM AOR and great‑power competition.

Knowledge of the IC and Combatant Command environment.

Ability to develop high‑quality deliverables tailored to senior policymakers or defense stakeholders, including complex written products and briefings.

Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.

HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience in an intelligence field, or Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience in an intelligence field.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to provide shift work support.

Pay Transparency The salary range for this role is $90,000–$95,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
