Junior Architect

Responsibilities
Work closely with Senior Architects and Designers.
Prepare detailed drawings for construction and building permit filing plans for both commercial and residential projects.
Assist in producing graphic presentations.
Conduct site surveys and develop existing condition documentation.
Attend construction meetings and document proposed changes.
Coordinate with clients, the design team, consultants, and vendors as needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum 2–3 years of experience working at an architectural firm.
Strong knowledge of plans, construction drawings, and CAD standards, and the ability to adapt standards to multiple projects.
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D modeling/rendering.
Working knowledge of ADA and NYC building codes and standards.
Strong time‑management, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure, meet project deadlines, multitask, and work autonomously or in a team.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited architecture program.
Residency in NYC and valid U.S. work permit.
Strong English language proficiency.
Employment Details Full‑time, hybrid work schedule with 2–3 days in office per week.
