Vice President, Partnerships and Marketing Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced
BIM Modeler/Coordinator
to join our HVAC BIM department. This role is ideal for a highly skilled Revit user with a strong understanding of HVAC systems, construction workflows, and model-based coordination. The BIM Modeler/Coordinator will take a lead role in developing, coordinating, and maintaining BIM models that directly support fabrication and field installation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development of
Revit-based HVAC BIM models
from design through construction
Produce accurate, fabrication-ready and coordination drawings
Manage model coordination and clash detection efforts
Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, fabricators, and field teams
Resolve complex layout and constructability issues within the model
Create, maintain and enforce BIM standards, best practices, and workflows
Mentor other BIM team members and review model quality
Incorporate field feedback and as-built conditions into project models
Required Qualifications
Advanced proficiency in
Autodesk Revit (MEP)
Strong understanding of
HVAC systems and layouts
Experience producing shop drawings and coordination models
Ability to interpret construction documents and specifications
Proven experience participating in or leading BIM coordination efforts
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working for an HVAC or mechanical contractor
Familiarity with Navisworks, Revizto, Bluebeam, or similar coordination tools
Sheet metal and/or fabrication experience
Field experience or strong understanding of installation practices
Experience mentoring or leading BIM teams
