Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and visionary

SoC Telemetry Architect

to lead a small team defining the telemetry strategy and architecture across our advanced portfolio of SoCs. This role is central to enabling system-wide observability and delivering actionable, data-driven insights into performance, power, and functional behavior across complex silicon designs. You will work across architecture, design, verification, firmware, and software teams to define scalable and secure telemetry infrastructure from concept to production.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the SoC telemetry architecture and roadmap across multiple product lines and market segments.

Architect scalable, low-overhead telemetry and profiling solutions to support system-level observability and performance insights.

Collaborate with IP and SoC architects, platform teams, and product owners to align telemetry features with system requirements.

Specify on‑chip instrumentation strategies, telemetry data models, and efficient transport and aggregation mechanisms.

Enable telemetry integration with post‑silicon analytics, diagnostics, and visualization tools.

Supervise industry trends and new technologies to maintain an innovative telemetry infrastructure.

Required Skills and Experience

15+ years of experience in SoC or platform architecture/design, with 5+ years specializing in telemetry, observability, or system profiling.

Consistent track record of defining and delivering on-chip telemetry systems for performance, power, or functional monitoring.

Strong understanding of SoC architecture, including performance counters, trace systems, power profiling, and instrumentation.

Experience designing telemetry data paths, aggregation flows, and interface specifications.

Solid knowledge of RTL design and SoC integration principles.

Familiarity with telemetry data consumers such as firmware, OS, and analytics platforms.

Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across multi-functional teams.

Nice to Have Skills and Experience

Experience with ARM-based SoCs and familiarity with CoreSight components and interfaces.

Exposure to industry telemetry and observability standards or analytics frameworks.

Understanding of security considerations related to telemetry in secure or safety-critical environments.

Hands‑on experience with telemetry visualization, analytics tools, or data pipelines.
