MOT Engineer
Become part of our team. Balfour Beatty is looking to hire an experienced MOT Engineer – a key member of a cohesive project team responsible for developing MOT, staging construction, and traffic control plans on complex traditional or alternative delivery projects.

Responsibilities
The MOT Engineer will be a valuable member of a cohesive project team and will develop MOT, staging construction, and traffic control plans on complex traditional or alternative delivery projects.
Assists the Project Team with the planning and daily execution of the MOT scope of the construction project.
Coordinate with the team for upcoming lane closures, focusing on innovation, multiple phasing options, design optimization, and alternative technical concepts.
Develop traffic control plans, including temporary signing, striping, safety devices, and detours.
Generate innovative construction staging alternatives that optimize traffic operations while maximizing constructability and safety.
Work closely with contractors and owners to understand constructability needs and project MOT goals.
Apply critical thinking skills and plan ahead to anticipate challenges.
Mentor less experienced team members and promote the growth of their technical skills.
