Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, competence in general radiographic procedures.
Independent technical judgment and initiative in applying isotopes.
Performs tests in both in‑patients and out‑patients.
Uses Nuclear Medicine cameras and varied equipment.
Administers pharmaceuticals and radiopharmaceuticals as outlined in the Nuclear Medicine Scope of Practice.
Demonstrates industry knowledge in radiation safety.
What Qualifications You Will Need
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT).
MRT State of Texas.
ARRT(NM) or NMTCB certification.
NMTCB PET certification preferred.
Current AHA or ARC BLS provider.
If a current employee, participation in cross‑training program with completion of required alternate modality certification within 6 months.
