Job responsibilities Drive to multiple customers’ homes daily to diagnose and repair a variety of home appliances with high levels of quality and efficiency; appliances may include refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, and microwaves Deliver excellent customer experience that exceeds expectations consistently Provide customers with value-added solutions that help make their home cleaner, more comfortable and protected Keep company truck well-maintained and organized, and manage parts efficiently Performs other duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or GED EPA Type I or EPA Universal certification Mechanical knowledge and aptitude, including use of testing and repair tools Experience repairing and diagnosing a variety of home appliances preferred Ability to follow directions and processes for quality workmanship Ability to use smartphone, including for part ordering Successfully pass a background and drug screen Valid driver’s license for the state(s) in which you work Ability to travel up to 100% Ability to work variable and flexible hours, including required overtime Ability to read, understand, and apply written technical text to answer questions, solve problems, and complete job tasks Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to read, write, and speak English Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs continuously; frequently up to 50 lbs; occasionally up to 100 lbs Ability to reach, handle and finger objects; stand, walk, sit and type Ability to bend, squat, kneel, twist, stoop, climb and crawl Ability to occasionally reach above shoulder Ability to drive an automatic transmission vehicle Experience 1 - 2 Years Experience Travel Requirements Road Warrior (75% or more) Location United States Work-In City Matawan Work-In State NJ Work-In Postal Code 07747 Business Sears Home Services - In Home Job Function Repair / Installation Employment Category Regular, Full-time Compensation Range N/A Additional Compensation Explanation N/A EEO
