We’re hiring an experienced
Travel Sterile Processing Technician
for a
large, busy, state-of-the-art off-site reprocessing center
supporting
9 facilities , including tertiary hospitals and ambulatory surgery centers.
Schedule:
Every other weekend required
Free parking available
Responsibilities
Provides sterile processing & emergency services
Decontamination, assembly, sterilization & packaging of instruments
Operating washers, sterilizers, ultrasonic machines & EO sterilizers
Instrument inspection, assembly & tray accuracy
Inventory support and maintaining a contaminant-free environment
Following all department protocols and manufacturer instructions
Qualifications
CRCST or CSPD certification (must remain active during assignment)
Minimum 1 year certified
High School Diploma or equivalent
1.5+ years with tertiary experience OR 2+ years without tertiary experience
2+ years of experience
Additional Requirements
Ability to rotate through all areas, including decontamination
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Scrubs provided (laundered on-site)
Shoes, jewelry, hair & beard must be covered
