Field Service Technician

Pay Rate:

$25.00 - $32.00 per hour

Shift:

Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM

What Makes You Shop-Ready

High school diploma/GED.

3+ years of hands‑on heavy equipment repair experience (CAT equipment experience preferred).

Strong knowledge of troubleshooting methods and repair procedures.

Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics, service manuals, and technical documentation.

Skilled in using diagnostic equipment, tools, and lifting devices.

Familiarity with electronic cables, sensors, and control systems.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and problem‑solving abilities.

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Keep the Equipment Alive, Every Shift

Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment, including diesel engines, transmissions, drivetrains, winches, high‑pressure pumps, compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gearboxes, PTOs, electrical systems (12/24v), cabs, chassis, suspension, and A/C systems.

Perform inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operation.

Install, repair, and replace new or reconditioned parts as needed.

Operate diagnostic tools and computerized systems to support efficient repairs.

Maintain a well‑organized and fully equipped service truck.

Complete accurate service reports, timecards, and parts requisitions/returns.

Provide exceptional customer service, keeping clients informed throughout the repair process.
