Senior Customer Success Engineer Are you passionate about technology, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), positioning, or cloud computing? This is a fantastic opportunity to join u-blox Positioning Services Business Unit where our vision is to be the leading positioning services provider for field robotics customers. We provide cloud services to help B2B customers solve their positioning problems.

You will provide technical support, work with customers to develop solutions, and address technical questions around the u-blox service portfolio. You will assess and communicate customer needs to bridge the gap between the u-blox sales organization and product development teams. You will be working in an Agile environment, supporting customers to design world-class Industrial IoT and positioning solutions, applications and services.

Your responsibilities

Collaborate with customers to uncover challenges, requirements, and real-world use cases

Evaluate our services against customer needs and co-develop tailored, high-impact solutions

Create scripts and sample code for common customer use cases

Contribute to evolving AI-powered agents and tools that deliver smarter, more proactive customer experiences

Produce application notes, tutorials, and additional documentation for u-blox services

Collaborate closely with the Sales and Growth teams to ensure a seamless customer journey from design to implementation

Provide responsive technical support, including triaging and resolving customer tickets in Zendesk

Continuously hone your skills, develop new ones, and assist with improving the product and its delivery while fostering a collaborative learning environment

Required Skills and Experience

Education in the field of Engineering or applied sciences

Knowledge and experience in embedded software development

Programming experience with Python scripting

Knowledge of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite Systems) and ideally high-precision positioning

Ability to work well as part of a team in an agile, global, and diverse cultural environment

Eager to rapidly learn and apply evolving technology

Located in the Phoenix / Tempe area with a flexible hybrid schedule

Bonus Points

Interest or hands‑on experience with AI‑assisted development tools, generative AI for code / documentation, or building intelligent customer workflows

Knowledge and experience in software application architecture.

Strong written and verbal skills and the ability to produce clear and accurate documentation

Ability to balance between three competing factors of – “customer desirability”, “business viability” and “technical feasibility”.

Travel ~ 10%
