About the Position As one of Mavis’s leaders in undercar repairs,
Automotive Mechanics
inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of vehicle services. Responsibilities include brakes, struts, shocks, state‑mandated inspections, oil changes, fluid checks, tire mounting/dismounting, rotation, and balancing.
Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair undercar components (brakes, suspension, steering). Complete state‑mandated inspections, oil and filter changes, fluid checks, and replace worn parts.
Dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires; maintain a well‑organized, tool‑rich work area.
Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and lift items up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of age and legal authorization to work in the United States.
At least 2 years of experience or training in automotive repair/maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Extensive personal tool kit for undercar repairs.
Preferred: state inspection license(s); ASE certifications in Automotive Maintenance & Light Repair (G1), Suspension & Steering (A4), and Brakes (A5).
