Responsibilities
Follow audit procedures to balance daily revenue and expense transactions, identifying causes of out‑of‑balance situations in a timely manner, producing reports for management and taking initiative to correct errors.
Ensure all charges are properly posted to the appropriate guest folio or master account, balanced with supporting documentation.
Reconcile all charges to the general ledger, prepare backup files, and close out shift and day on reservation system, preparing system for the next day of business.
Generate housekeeping reports and print folio departures.
Compile daily revenue reports and file work accordingly.
Accurately manage cash funds and daily shift deposits.
Assist with other front office duties.
Calculate account balance at month‑end and submit to accounting.
Process reservation advance deposits from receipt of reservation information to depositing and logging all monies.
Perform all front desk duties including check‑in, check‑out and cashier procedures accurately and efficiently.
Assist guests and owners with needs and requests, delivering outstanding hospitality at all times.
Assist with other departmental duties such as bell stand, answering phones, etc.
Report any unresolved problems with owners and guests to management.
Carry out additional duties assigned by management, responding to all guest requests to ensure client satisfaction and teamwork.
Qualifications Minimum requirements:
High School diploma or GED
1 year of related experience
1 year of auditing experience
Preferred competencies:
Associate’s Degree/College Degree
VOICE Certified or Resort Data Processing (RDP)
3‑5 years of related experience
2+ years of supervisory experience
Shift:
FT Night Audit Relief shifts 11:00 pm – 7:00 am, including weekends.
Seniority Level Entry level
