A well-established and respected law firm in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced trial paralegal to support its civil litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced trial environment and brings strong litigation and billing experience.
Base pay range $70,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr
Location Fort Lauderdale, FL
What You'll Do
Provide comprehensive trial support in civil litigation matters from inception through trial.
Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including exhibits, witness coordination, and trial binders.
Draft, organize, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence.
Manage deadlines, calendars, and court filings in state and federal courts.
Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial logistics.
Track time entries and assist with billing procedures in accordance with firm and client requirements.
What We're Looking For
Prior experience as a Trial Paralegal in civil litigation (trial experience required).
Strong knowledge of Florida civil procedure and court filing requirements.
Experience with billing procedures and time-entry systems.
Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work independently while supporting multiple attorneys in an active trial practice.
