Commercial Real Estate Paralegal Livingston, New Jersey

Base Pay Range $80,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Assessing and preparing draft agreements, and closing documents for attorney review

Assisting attorneys with various administrative and organizational aspects of financing, leasing, acquisition and disposition, and other real estate transactions

Working with third parties coordinating title searches, surveys, environmental inspections, appraisals, UCC searches, zoning verification letters

Preparing and tracking closing checks lists and transactional documentation from finalized Agreements through completion of closing binders

Facilitating communication between clients, lawyers and third parties

Documenting processes, as well as maintaining hard copy files and electronic records

Submitting accurate legal documents in a timely manner

Ability to handle multiple closings including but not limited to coordinating and tracking correspondence, inquiries, dates, documents

Requirements

Associate’s degree in paralegal studies or similar

Project management experience a must

A minimum of 5+ years’ experience as a commercial real estate paralegal

Extensive knowledge of real estate documents, contracts, applications and submissions

Exemplary organizational, time management and multitasking skills

Excellent collaboration and communication abilities

Keen attention to detail

Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment

Experience with Practice Management Software

Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 – $110,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
