Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $70,000.00/yr

Job Description The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for in‑process and final inspections of aeronautical products to ensure adherence to engineering design specifications. The individual is required to ensure timely execution and reporting of inspection results, including documentation of any deviations. Candidates must demonstrate attention to detail, thoroughness, unwavering integrity, sound judgement, a cooperative attitude, and the ability to train on day shift.

Job Duties And Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Read, interpret, and inspect manufacturing processes against drawings, procedures, and process specifications.

Communicate findings to the appropriate department for corrective action.

Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the quality assurance manual and relevant processes/procedures.

Ensure that products, articles, and services meet drawing, specification, and customer requirements.

Analyze finished aircraft assembly bonds, parts, or components to determine acceptance or rejection based on drawings, specs, and procedures.

Ensure accuracy and completion of all paperwork and planning related to operations performed and materials consumed.

Identify design and process improvement opportunities and communicate them to area leadership.

Maintain clean, orderly, and presentable work areas at all times; apply 6S principles and wear appropriate protective equipment.

Comply with all paperwork, such as work instructions, that govern job duties.

Demonstrate leadership qualities when working with manufacturing technicians.

Communicate effectively in both oral and written language.

Apply written processes and procedures to products and articles for inspection.

Must Haves

2+ years’ experience working within a regulated quality system.

A&P License – preferred.

Welding certificate – preferred.

NDI certification – preferred.

Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.

Proficient with standard measurement equipment.

Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Ability to work independently during daily job duties.

Exceptional attention to detail.
