Program Manager (hybrid) Northwestern Mutual

Summary Plans, monitors and manages leader development programs to ensure specifications are established, deliverables are met and costs are within budget. Responsible for supporting teams as they drive the learning and development experience for the field. This role will be responsible for supporting the expansion and scalability of the operational model by building standardized processes to deliver and execute a variety of training and development programs.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for managing scope, risk, business value, schedule and budget of leader development programs.

Seeks clarity on program objectives, priorities, and measures. Identifies and recommends approaches for program needs.

Support and inform the build out of operational model for assigned programs.

Develops relationships with business clients to manage program delivery expectations and implementation.

Perform a variety of operational support roles such as coordination of network office learning and development activities, tracking documents and participation, maintaining dashboards and SharePoint sites, scheduling, preparing and providing information and access needed for the learning experience, reporting, collecting and analyzing information and program communications.

Makes connections across teams to identify and manage inter-dependencies.

Analyze process workflow and implement necessary changes.

Support and inform operational system for scalability and expansion of programs.

Builds knowledge of industry and company initiatives, products, etc in order to incorporate knowledge in to program objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis in Business, HR, Project Management or related field preferred OR a significant amount of directly-related work experience beyond the minimum required for the position.

Minimum 2 years experience/knowledge in processes and project support/management to include analysis, documentation.

Ability to work with general direction to scope, plan and manage cross-department or multi-department programs.

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage mid-complexity assignments.

Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Seen as a team player and is supportive of group decisions and ideas.

Written and oral communications skills with the ability to build rapport within the company, field and /or outside vendors.

High of personal initiative and motivation.

Compensation Range Start: $64,820.00

End: $120,380.00
