The Role The Deal Desk Specialist will act as a central liaison, supporting sales in complex deals, ensuring pricing and policy compliance, and accelerating approvals for contracts, quotes, and orders. By working closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, and Operations, this will help optimize revenue, reduce the sales cycle, and maintain governance for profitable, accurate transactions.
Key Accountabilities
Serve as the primary Deal Desk point of contact, partnering with Sales on complex, non-standard deals to structure pricing, terms and approvals efficiently
Collect, review, and coordinate all quotes, order forms, and contracts to ensure compliance with pricing policies, discount thresholds and approval matrices
Coordinate cross-functional approvals with Finance, Legal, RevOps and Sales Leadership to accelerate deal cycles and remove bottlenecks
Provide deal-level guidance on pricing strategy, discounting, contract terms, renewals, upsells and multi-year or enterprise agreements
Own deal governance by enforcing revenue recognition requirements, margin targets and company policies while balancing speed and risk
Maintain accuracy and data integrity in CRM, and related quoting tools for all supported transactions
Analyze deal trends (discounting, approval times, exceptions) and surface insights and recommendations to improve win rates and profitability
Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Deal Desk processes, documentation and enablement to support scale and consistency as the company grows
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Finance or Commercial Operations within a SaaS environment
Hands-on experience supporting complex B2B SaaS deals, including enterprise, multi-year and non-standard contract structures
Strong working knowledge of SaaS pricing models and discounting strategies
Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal and Operations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot, DealHub)
Solid understanding of revenue recognition concepts and commercial compliance requirements
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to balance accuracy, speed and sound business judgment
Strong communication skills with the confidence to push back constructively and influence stakeholders at multiple levels
Desired Skills
Familiarity with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and standard SaaS legal terms (MSAs, DPAs, SLAs)
Experience working in a corporate security environment preferred
Experience using CRM and Project Management tools
Data-driven mindset with experience building deal analysis, dashboards or reporting to inform pricing and policy decisions
Required Education
A Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS, BBA) or equivalent; Master’s Degree preferred.
