Customer Operations Associate

Alchemy is partnering with an established Aerospace & Defense organization seeking a Customer Operations Associate to join their team in Milwaukee, WI.
This role will oversee the post sales cycle to ensure customer satisfaction and on‑time delivery while catering to the customer.
Responsibilities
Consistently meet or exceed individual and company performance goals and KPIs.
Manage the full post‑award lifecycle of purchase orders and contracts, including but not limited to: Order entry and acknowledgment
Monitoring and managing sales order due and ship dates
Resolving customer holds, issues, and escalations in a timely manner
Take ownership of post‑order management activities, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Develop a strong understanding of regional customers and their product requirements.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams—including Sales, Supply Chain, Accounting, Trade Compliance, Quality, and Warehouse—to ensure seamless order execution.
Leverage critical thinking and advanced problem‑solving skills to address and resolve customer concerns related to product, pricing, lead times, or quality.
Participate in ongoing training focused on process improvement, product knowledge, industry updates, and customer engagement.
Maintain proficiency in region‑specific requirements such as contract review, USG FAR/DFARS compliance, flow‑down clauses, penalties, source inspections, and customer portals.
Prepare and maintain accurate status reports for both customers and management.
Communicate effectively with customers via phone, Microsoft Teams, and email on a daily basis.
Attend daily, weekly, and monthly team meetings as scheduled.
Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Highly motivated, energetic, and results‑driven.
Professional, courteous, and adept at building strong interpersonal relationships.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and perform well under pressure.
Previous experience in customer service or account management preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Windows environment.
Bachelor’s degree and/or 5–7 years of relevant experience.
Foreign language proficiency is a plus.
Occasional travel may be required.
