Responsibilities
Complete Pre‑Op inspection form
Oversee food production and ensure all Chefs adhere to the CU Chef agreement
Pull up daily menus, record items to be cooked per Chef, and log each component into the Cooking/Cooling Log; record time and temperature of each dish and check weights before starting to ensure accuracy
Communicate kitchen rules to Chefs: mask wearing, gloves, hairnets, proper hand‑washing, cleaning of equipment, sanitizing prep stations, etc.
Ensure all items going into walk‑in are labeled appropriately (labels must include Chef Name, Product Name and Date)
Maintain walk‑in coolers: keep closed and temperature at 41° °F or lower
Qualifications
Ability to work in a cold prep area kept at 35° °F
Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds without assistance
Stand for long periods of time
High school diploma or equivalent
Sense of urgency
Attention to detail
Positive attitude

Compensation All final pay rates will be determined by candidates’ experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and market data.
Pay Range: $18 USD – $18 USD (per hour)
