Foreman IS role at Clean Harbors – Thompson-Industrial, a Clean Harbors company, is seeking an experienced foreman to oversee two or more crews in the Augusta, GA industrial cleaning environment.
Base Pay Range $13.00/hr - $31.00/hr
Location: Augusta, GA
Responsibilities include planning, leading, organizing, and coordinating daily operations of the service line crew, ensuring proper equipment operation, driving operational efficiencies, and maintaining accurate documentation. The foreman will also ensure compliance with all company policies, nurture customer relations, and promote a safety‑first culture.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure health and safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner.
Promote HPC-Industrial’s safety, environmental, and operations policies.
Manage a crew to safety and accurately complete operations.
Timely and accurate completion and review of paperwork documenting work functions.
Train and develop equipment technicians.
Interact with customers professionally.
Perform hydroblasting and vacuum truck services.
Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements & Expectations
Experience in wastewater treatment, valving, piping, with added experience in activated carbon treatment a plus.
Minimum 2 years verifiable service within the industrial cleaning industry.
High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
Strong knowledge in the operation of equipment used in hydroblasting and vacuum truck.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Current certification as an authorized HPC-Industrial driver.
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience preferred.
Skills and Experience
Ability to wear protective clothing or equipment such as Nomex coveralls, back belt, slicker suits, rubber boots, breathing mask, escape pack, and hard hat.
Ability to work under extreme climate conditions (high heat index, high humidity, subzero weather).
Ability to withstand exposure to dust, chemicals, fumes, exhaust, and highly pressurized fluids.
