As a Roofing Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems. Your duties will include assessing roofing needs, identifying issues, performing repairs, and ensuring the quality and safety of the roofing installations. You will work closely with customers to address their roofing concerns and provide exceptional service. Key Responsibilities
Inspect roofs to assess damage, leaks, or other issues. Repair or replace damaged roofing materials, such as single-ply membrane, spray Polyurethane foam and coating, shingles, tiles, or metal panels. Apply waterproofing materials and sealants to protect roofs and buildings from water damage. Remove debris and clean roofs to maintain their integrity and appearance. Use equipment such as ladders, scaffolds, and safety harnesses to work at heights. Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. Communicate with customers to understand their roofing needs as instructed by the office. Document work performed, including materials used, repairs made, and hours worked into Global FM software. Keep abreast of industry trends, techniques, and best practices in roofing installation and repair. Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not necessary. Previous experience in roofing installation, repair, or maintenance. Knowledge of roofing materials, techniques, and safety protocols. Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if required). Strong record of attendance. Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous tasks. Certification or training in roofing installation and safety practices (preferred). Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed. Clean repairs. Detail oriented.
