Job Summary Registered Dental Assistant supports dental care delivery by preparing treatment rooms, patients, instruments, and materials; passing instruments and materials; performing procedures in compliance with the Dental Practice Act.
Pay Range: $23.89-$32.02/hour (Based on experience).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assists the doctor in procedures
Operates x-ray equipment and takes x-rays
Prophylaxis of teeth
Instructs patients on oral hygiene
Charts and treatment planning with doctor
Sterilizes instruments
Sets up and prepares rooms for hygiene and treatment
Take IO's
Charting
Sealants, if applicable
Education and/or Experience
Certification from a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred
Bilingual in Spanish, preferred
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
California Registered Dental Assistant License
X-Ray Certification
Coronal Polish Certification required
Current BLS certification
Sealant Certification, preferred
Seniority Level: Entry level
