Base Pay Range: $15.00/hr - $17.50/hr
Responsibilities
Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
Register sales on assigned cash register, provide customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
Share customer service best practices with all team members, demonstrating interpersonal habits (e.g., greeting, eye contact, courtesy) and Walgreens service traits (e.g., offering help proactively, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied).
Operations
Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service.
Recommend items for sale, trade‑ups, and companion items.
Register purchases on cash register, handle cash, process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges.
Keep counters and shelves clean, well‑merchandised; take inventory and maintain records.
Check in and price merchandise as required or directed by store manager or shift leader.
Implement asset protection procedures to minimize profit loss.
Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise; complete resets and revisions as directed.
Assist with food item separation, placement, restocking, and first‑in‑first‑out rotation.
Possess working knowledge of store systems and equipment.
Provide customer service in the photo area (digital passport photo, poster print, creative machine, suggestive sell of promotional photo products).
Assume web pick‑up responsibilities (monitor orders in Picture Care Plus, pick items, deliver orders to customers).
Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure clean, neat, orderly store condition.
Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Training & Personal Development
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by manager or assigned by corporate.
Basic Qualifications
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens.
