Responsibilities The Speech‑Language Pathologist plans, conducts and evaluates the treatment program for individuals with disorders in the comprehension and production of speech and language, as set forth by the American Speech‑Language and Hearing Association. Under the direction of the attending physician, the Speech‑Language Pathologist provides assessment and treatment of cognitive and swallowing disorders.
Requirements
Licensed, registered or certified by the state in which the Speech‑Language Pathologist resides or practices speech pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech‑Language and Hearing Association.
