Primarily outpatient setting with intermittent inpatients; weekday rotation included.

Schedule: 9:30–5:30 M–Th and 7:30–3:30 Friday currently.

$2,500 sign‑on bonus.

New grads welcome.

Overview Since 1937, Alton Memorial Hospital has served residents in Alton, Illinois, and surrounding communities. Today, Alton Memorial is a full‑service acute care hospital offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services—including surgery, medical imaging, cardiology, cancer care, rehabilitation, 24‑hour emergency care, and ambulance services. The Rehabilitation Services department, known as the Human Motion Institute, employs a multidisciplinary team of Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapists, Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapist Assistants, and Occupational Therapy Assistants.

Role Purpose Provide skilled physical therapy services to patients, encompassing all aspects of evaluation and treatment.

Responsibilities

Establish treatment plans and provide treatment, considering discharge needs and expected functional status.

Educate, collaborate with, and confer with patients, families, and other health‑care providers; recommend referrals to specialists as needed.

Delegate to assistants, techs, and students through written and verbal communication, ensuring appropriate skill levels for interventions.

Complete documentation in accordance with departmental policies.

Provide assessment, reassessment, and/or consultations for Physical Therapy Services.

Minimum Requirements Education

Bachelor's Degree

Physical Therapy (PT) graduate status

Experience

No prior experience required.

Supervisor Experience

No prior supervisory experience required.

Licenses & Certifications

Physical Therapist License in Illinois

Preferred Requirements Education

Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (PT)
