Pay Range:

$40‑$48 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, specialized nursing care to medical‑surgical patients with oncological diagnoses.

Collaborate with the patient care team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.

Monitor, examine, and evaluate patient conditions, managing symptoms and providing education on disease processes and treatments.

Act as a primary liaison between patients, their families, and providers, ensuring clear communication and patient advocacy.

Prioritize and coordinate daily patient flow to deliver safe and effective care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience

Skills:

Registered Nurse (RN), RN Med Surg, RN Medical Surgical, RN Oncology, RN Acute Care, BLS.

Licensure:

Active RN License (Single State or Multi‑state Compact).

Certification:

Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire.

Experience:

Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience. Experience in Med Surg, Oncology, or related acute care settings is strongly preferred.

Education:

Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master’s in Nursing preferred.

Schedule:

PRN, various shifts (flexible scheduling).

Other skills:

Strong clinical assessment, patient education, and communication skills. Ability to provide empathetic, patient‑centered care in a dynamic environment.
