The night shift consists of one charge nurse, eight RNs, one tech, and one unit secretary at maximum capacity.
The patient-to-nurse ratio is 5 : 1.
Required skill set includes experience on a medical surgical floor.
Candidates without essential skills will not be considered for the role.
Preferred skills include NIH Stroke certification and ACLS.
The environment is upbeat, engaged, and compassionate.
Scrubs must be navy in color.
The unit has received multiple awards and recognitions for excellence in patient care.
The unit is also designated for stroke and neuro care.
