We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse who will provide high-quality nursing care in an outpatient short-stay setting, assisting patients with medical needs and ensuring smooth transitions to home or other care facilities. The RN will work closely with the patient, family, and the healthcare team to identify and implement mutual goals based on the nursing assessment and diagnosis.
Responsibilities
Participate in open discussions with patients, families, and clinicians to identify mutual goals based on the nursing assessment and nursing diagnosis.
Diagnose, treat and evaluate the human response to actual or potential health problems or needs.
Evaluate the outcomes of the nursing plan of care and revise it as necessary.
Assess, detect, monitor and attempt to prevent complications associated with health situations or treatment plans.
Notify the physician of patient condition and response to nursing interventions appropriately and document this action.
Ensure patient pain is assessed, treated, reassessed, documented and evaluated.
Delegate tasks to other licensed and unlicensed care providers based on clinical nursing judgment and skill of the care provider.
Licensure / Certification / Registration
Advanced Life Support credential from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 12 months of hire date.
BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 month of hire date.
Fingerprinting obtained before hire date.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 12 months of hire date.
Licensed Registered Nurse obtained within 3 months of hire date.
Education
Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (AAS) degree, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), or RN diploma awarded before start date.
