Under the direction of the Behavioral Health Services Manager, this position will work with adults and their families to deliver person-centered case management, skills training and medication education primarily in a clinic setting. The role conducts routine psychosocial‑emotional needs assessments, completes Person‑Centered Recovery Plans, assists with accessing community resources, provides rehabilitative services, and initiates crisis intervention when needed. All services are documented in a state-of-the-art electronic health record and delivered in collaboration with a multidisciplinary, trauma-informed recovery team.
Services promoted by this position include recovery and wellness, community integration, independent living and improved quality of life. The candidate should have a passion for working with individuals who have chronic and severe mental health needs. Knowledge of psychotherapeutic medications, case management functions, substance use treatment, crisis services, community resources, and evidence-based practices in the behavioral health field is critical. Successful applicants will demonstrate innovative thinking, patience, organization, time management, resiliency, advocacy, service coordination, mental health assessment, collaborative person-centered recovery planning and dual-diagnosis treatment. The role requires working independently and as part of a team, prioritizing needs during crisis situations, engaging in regular meetings, staffing, training opportunities, and performing other duties with a positive attitude.
Location Round Rock, TX
Differential Detail
Up to $4.00/hour – Tenure with BTCS
$0.75/hour – Bilingual
Up to $2.00/hour – Prior experience in a similar role with a community center in Texas
$1.00/hour – Master’s Degree in Human Services
$1.00/hour – Advanced Licensure
$0.50/hour – LCDC Licensure
Eligibility for $200/month Service Delivery Incentive Award

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a social, behavioral, or human services field, or equivalent coursework.
Knowledge of mental health diagnosis.
Ability to work as a member of a team within a fast-paced, recovery-focused environment.
Must have a Texas driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree and/or clinical license in psychology, education, social work, or a related field.
One-year work or practicum/clinical experience in case management, crisis intervention, and/or psychosocial rehabilitative services.
