Job Description
Location:
Tucker, GA
Schedule:
Wednesday to Saturday 7am‑3:30pm & Sundays 12pm‑8:30pm.
Sign‑On Bonus:
$10,000 for eligible external candidates.
Relocation Assistance:
will be considered.
Pay Range:
$30.00+ per hour. Annual performance bonus possible.

Responsibilities
Follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, processing, test analyses, reporting, and record maintenance.
Maintain records that demonstrate proficiency testing samples are tested in the same manner as patient specimens.
Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures.
Review and release test results.
Follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines.
Follow policies and procedures when test systems are not within acceptable performance limits.
Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results, correct problems or notify senior technologist or supervisor.
Qualifications
BS in Medical Technology preferred; BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology, or Associates degree in a Laboratory Science or Medical Technology, or previously qualified as a Technologist under 42 CFR 493.
1 year clinical experience (high complexity testing) preferred.
