What You’ll Do
Join our dynamic and thriving dental practice as a Dental Assistant. At Great Expressions Dental Centers, you will help deliver exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment where every day brings new challenges and opportunities.
Pay Information Base pay between $23‑$30/hr, plus an annual performance bonus.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Assist our experienced dental team in providing exceptional patient care
Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post‑treatment care
Support dentists during procedures, anticipating their needs to ensure a smooth workflow
Perform basic dental procedures under the guidance of a licensed dentist
Manage appointment scheduling and maintain patient records accurately
Requirements
Connecticut: certification and proof of formal training to expose X‑rays.
Florida: Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) certification and proof of formal training to expose X‑rays (including FDOH Permit to expose X‑rays).
Georgia: CPR Certification, EFDA certification, and proof of formal training to expose X‑rays.
Massachusetts: CPR Certification, proof of formal training to expose X‑rays, BORID certification and annual CE requirements per state regulations.
Michigan: Upon hiring, you must provide evidence of X‑ray training certification. If not pending at the time of hiring, an 8‑week grace period is granted.
New Jersey: Proof of X‑ray training.
New York: Not applicable.
Ohio: Proof of formal training to expose X‑rays (including FDOH Permit to Expose X‑rays).
Texas: CPR Certification, TSBDE: TX State Board of Dental Examiners.
