Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor We are looking for a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Savannah, TN and Dyersburg, TN.

Job Summary Provide mental health services within the scope of practice, conduct biopsychosocial assessments, facilitate treatment planning, collaborate with PACT team, and deliver individual, family, and group counseling.

Qualifications

Full, current, unrestricted license to practice as an LPMHC in the state of the outpatient site (CBOC).

Master’s or doctoral degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling, or a related CACREP‑accredited field.

Experience in addiction, community, gerontology, marital, couple, or family counseling is preferred.

Knowledge of VA Directive 1160.01 and related contract requirements.

Responsibilities

Conduct biopsychosocial assessments of Veterans, family members, and caregivers.

Provide treatment planning and brief individual, family, and group counseling.

Collaborate with PACT team for mental health service provision to assigned and unassigned patients per VA Directive 1160.01.

Deliver services within the established scope of the LPMHC licensure.

Benefits Pay: $40.36 per hour
