Clinical Supervisor – Mental Health Outpatient Services (LCSW Required)

Bleuler Psychotherapy Center, a respected nonprofit mental health organization with over 70 years of service in Queens, is seeking an experienced
Clinical Supervisor
to oversee the clinical quality, staff development, and service delivery of our licensed outpatient programs.
This is a highly visible leadership role requiring
LCSW licensure , deep knowledge of
OMH Part 599 regulations , and proven experience in
supervising therapists
and managing clinic operations. You’ll be instrumental in shaping care outcomes, supporting staff, ensuring compliance, and advancing Bleuler’s mission of equitable, person-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical supervision to therapists and interns across Bleuler’s Article 31 mental health programs
Ensure clinical services meet OMH standards and uphold trauma-informed, person-centered principles
Monitor productivity, billing, and clinical documentation through data dashboards and EHR reports
Support the recruitment, training, onboarding, and professional development of clinical staff
Conduct annual performance evaluations, set growth goals, and address performance concerns
Maintain audit readiness and regulatory compliance across all documentation and service areas
Approve schedules, review PTO coverage, and ensure consistent client access to care
Participate in case reviews, utilization management, IRC meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
Provide backup coverage for absent clinicians, including groups or short-term client support
Manage a small caseload, as needed
Escalate safety, liability, or critical incident concerns to the Compliance Officer and Clinic Operations Manager
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and clinical innovation
What We’re Looking For
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or LCSW‑R) in NYS
(required)
5+ years
of clinical experience in outpatient mental health (required)
3+ years
of clinical supervision or team leadership experience (required)
Expertise in working with children, adolescents, and adults with complex mental health needs
Familiarity with EHR platforms, clinical reporting tools, and Microsoft Office Suite
Deep understanding of OMH regulations, HIPAA, and documentation best practices
Strong organizational, coaching, and conflict‑resolution skills
Cultural competence and sensitivity to diverse populations
Flexible availability for both daytime and evening hours
