RN PEDs Private Duty - Nights - Forrest City, AR
Optum is looking for a Registered Nurse to provide private duty services at patients' homes. The role is part of the Arkansas Community-Based Services program, a component of LHC Group, dedicated to delivering compassionate care across community settings.
Key responsibilities include delivering nursing care as prescribed, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and agency policies.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide high‑quality clinical services within scope of practice and infection control standards.
Coordinate care with the patient’s care team from admission to discharge.
Complete clinical nursing assessments per federal/state program requirements and payer needs.
Ensure patient eligibility and medical necessity for services as defined by payer and agency policy.
Develop and revise individualized plans of care with other community providers.
Ensure plan of care frequency and duration meet patient needs and initiate revisions with physician approval.
Required Qualifications
Current and unrestricted RN licensure in the state of practice.
Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
Current CPR certification.
Ability to function effectively in any home situation, regardless of client characteristics.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 1 year of RN experience.
Strong independence and self‑management skills.
Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills.
Salary and Benefits The hourly pay for this full‑time position ranges from $28.27 to $50.48, based on local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications and other factors.
