Personal Choice Retirement Account
(PCRA) and
Health Savings Brokerage Account
(HSBA) through Charles Schwab & Co. PCIS is rapidly growing by delivering these products to Schwab Retirement Plan Services and the broader retirement and health savings industries.
The PCIS Group’s objective is to deliver competitive products and services to the intermediaries it serves. A strong understanding of the retirement market and the ability to identify our clients’ business needs is paramount to our success. Within this group, the
Client Integration and Support Team
is responsible for onboarding PCRA and HSA clients onto Schwab’s brokerage platform.
In this role, you will support client integrations onto the Schwab brokerage platform, working closely with business partners in PCIS, Relationship Management, Product Management, Compliance, and various scrum teams to set up plans and accounts for the PCRA and HSA products.
Responsibilities
Coordinate client development, testing, and deployment integration to ensure internal teams align with the client’s needs.
Understand clients’ business requirements, present tailored integration options, and act as the primary liaison between PCIS, internal QA resources and the client’s technology team for testing activities.
Provide hands‑on support and troubleshooting during the implementation phase.
Work with the Agile delivery team to craft high‑quality, customer‑centric user stories.
Monitor clients’ daily file transmission.
Prepare for and participate in quarterly installs after market close for system enhancements and bug fixes.
Required Qualifications
Subject‑matter expert on brokerage plans and account integrations, providing leading practices and recommendations.
Experience in financial services.
Degree or equivalent experience.
Strong communication skills—written and verbal.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a coordinated team to meet business needs and target dates.
Demonstrated success in supporting multiple projects and priorities with short timelines.
2+ years of data analysis experience.
2+ years of strong analytical problem‑solving skills.
2+ years of Agile (Scrum) experience; creating and prioritizing stories in JIRA.
2+ years of SQL, script writing and familiarity with tables and ETL.
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience in Self‑Directed Brokerage Accounts.
3+ years of experience with PopWeb, Client Central, Scube, SAC and EMTR.
1+ year of SAFe experience; PI/Sprint planning, Agile ceremonies.
SAFe certification.
