Join our team as a Meal Site Coordinator with the Aging, Disability, and Resource Center (ADRC) Team. This limited‑term position delivers meals to seniors at congregate dining centers and provides home‑delivered meals to residents. The role lasts 6–12 months, with 8 am–1 pm hours and 15–20 working hours per week. No benefits will be offered.
Job Responsibilities
Ensure daily meal service activities and coordinate speakers and discussions.
Serve meals and oversee home‑delivered meal distribution.
Prepare and update meal participant lists, handle reservations and cancellations.
Follow food safety and sanitation procedures, including washing, calibrating thermometers and recording temperatures of food and refrigerators.
Maintain daily cleanliness and sanitation of work area.
Organize and encourage social opportunities for clients.
Assist in recruiting, training and overseeing volunteers, including coordinating volunteer schedules.
Complete and maintain all required nutrition program reports.
Follow data collection guidelines and manage required information for funding sources and agency guidelines when signing up participants and completing reports.
Consider attendance habits and other factors to determine meal quantity and minimize waste.
Conduct home‑delivered meal assessments and refer clients needed services to ADRC I&A workers.
Order supplies, handle cash and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience working with the elderly or disabled population.
