Position Summary: This role is responsible for assisting management with the supervision of associates in a designated area. Duties include assigning tasks, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing direction on member service approaches to resolve complaints and issues according to company guidelines. The assistant manager also ensures compliance with company policies and supports the Open Door Policy, participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, coaching, and evaluating associates, and collaborates with other managers to meet business goals.
What you’ll do: Provide and ensure member service by acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions. Locate merchandise, provide guidance on self‑service technology, and support members during transactions using registers or self‑checkout areas. Oversee assigned area including handling claims, returns, zoning, and organizing merchandise. Maintain parking lot cleanliness, complete accounting records, files transactions, and manage daily deposits and cash fund transfers. Develop and implement processes to meet business needs, analyze information, and identify improvement opportunities. Demonstrate and promote compliance with company policies, maintain ethical standards, and act with integrity in all decisions.

The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $29.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Minimum Qualifications
6 months retail experience including operating front‑end equipment (for example, cash register) AND 6 months customer service experience
Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications
Leading a front‑end team, supervising experience to include hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others
