Senior Cost Analyst – stow Group

Job Description:
As Senior Cost Analyst, you will be a member of the Plant Management Team, reporting to the Plant Manager and working closely with the Finance and Controlling team at stow HQ in Belgium. Your responsibilities will encompass plant‑ and sales‑controlling, as well as reporting, forecasting, and budgeting. You will be the financial advisor to Management and play a key role in the strategic and operational planning of our production plant.
Task and Responsibilities
Plant Results
Reporting, forecasting, budgeting, product‑ and process‑cost controlling
Analyze value stream and P&L impacts
Analyze production orders – plan vs. actual
Analyze production efficiency and explore potential for improvements
Maintain and update standard costing
Benchmarking and best practices
Cross‑Functional Support
Support and build costing for commercial price setting
Strong liaison with finance and accounting
Conduct ad‑hoc analyses to support management decisions
Drive Digital & Process Improvements
Further improvement of SAP PLC costing tool for US offer tool
Constant improvement of controlling tools
Qualifications
Master of Finance or Business Administration or equivalent through experience.
3 to 5 years of solid experience in controlling of a manufacturing plant.
Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong technical understanding of the value stream of a manufacturing operation.
Solid knowledge of ERP systems in a manufacturing environment (SAP experience is a must) and in‑depth knowledge of MS Excel / Power BI.
Nice to haves: hands‑on experience in SAP R/3 and/or S4H.
Self‑organized and self‑motivated.
Used to work under pressure.
Creative and proactive to adjust to all sorts of challenges in the business environment.
Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
Flexibility to travel (especially during first training – 4‑6 weeks).
