Private Banker - Waco
Extraco Banks seeks a Private Banker to join our Private Banking team, located on‑site in Waco, Texas. The role focuses on developing, managing, and retaining high‑net‑worth client relationships, providing customized banking strategies and a high‑touch experience.
Responsibilities
Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing Premier Banking clients, serving as their primary point of contact for all banking needs.
Identify and develop new relationships with potential Private Banking clients internally and externally, through referrals, community involvement, and prospect mining.
Profile client needs across the full spectrum and provide tailored advice in collaboration with internal stakeholders, utilizing planning capabilities and developing solutions across lending, deposit, investment, and other services.
Work closely with the Private Banking Manager to develop and enhance products that grow the private bank and its customers.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent service and alignment with the bank’s goals.
Identify additional opportunities from existing clients, leveraging all resources to become their lead or sole provider.
Manage client portfolios, planning, delivering, and reviewing regularly to deliver high contact and communication.
Facilitate financial needs assessments, monitor ongoing circumstances, and adjust services accordingly.
Ensure proposed solutions maximize clients’ goals and objectives.
Coordinate commercial, consumer, and other loan requests through established processes.
Ensure relationship/product growth plans are developed with the Director of Private Banking and implemented.
Develop detailed knowledge of Extraco’s products and services, including loans, accounts, consulting, etc.
Prepare and deliver presentations on various financial topics.
Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date records of client interactions, sales activities, and metrics.
Participate in community events to promote the bank and build relationships with potential clients.
Keep up‑to‑date with industry trends and regulations, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
May work on limited‑complexity projects in a support or advisory role.
Performance Measures
Effectively perform and complete banking services per Extraco policies, procedures, and regulations.
Complete documents and reports accurately, efficiently, and timely.
Maintain good working relationships and partnerships with personnel, management, customers, and vendors.
Adhere to KPI goals, including new business acquisition, product, deposit, loan growth, client satisfaction, and retention.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred, or equivalent work experience.
