Position Summary The Quality Assurance/Quality Control Analyst (QAQC) manages and performs daily QC responsibilities for specific CBRE | Direct Line (DL) projects. The role includes oversight and review of project documentation, physical inspection, and coordination with in‑house and external personnel to produce and document a quality product.

Duties & Responsibilities

Follow safe work practices and company and client worksite policies, upholding Safety as a core value.

Promote company core values to foster a family‑centric culture.

Implement the QA/QC management system at site, covering cable tray routing, conduit installs, cable management, rack and cabinet placement, port accuracy, copper and fiber test validation, and as-built documentation.

Coordinate quality inspections with all site subcontractors and vendors.

Coordinate with the customer’s representative on all quality matters.

Coordinate all receipt inspections and distribute relevant QA/QC documentation to site subcontractors.

Verify that all site activities comply with applicable codes and standards.

Participate in internal and external site audits.

Coordinate all quality site inspections through site QC inspectors.

Ensure all quality control documentation is compiled and completed for closeout handover.

Control all nonconformance reports and undertake remedial action.

Complete site quality control instructions and remedial responses.

Review customer specifications and undertake relevant training when needed.

Monitor implementation of the approved site QC plan.

Approve site QC technical submittals to the customer.

Coordinate with the site project manager on all quality issues.

Chair weekly QA/QC site meetings with subcontractor QC personnel.

Elaborate inspection and test programs.

Maintain current status of all technical documents related to site quality control.

Position Requirements Education

Associate’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or 5 years of equivalent experience.

BICSI certifications (Technician, RTPM, or DCDC).

BISCI RCDD preferred.

Experience

5+ years of field experience in commercial construction.

5+ years of field experience in data center structure cabling (copper and fiber).

3–5 years of experience installing and testing copper and fiber.

1–2 years of experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud.

1–2 years of experience with Bluebeam Revu or CAD.

Work Environment & Physical Demands The position requires working indoor/outdoor in a data center and construction environment. The employee uses a computer and/or hand tools while sitting or standing for extended periods. Noise is usually moderate. Daily duties involve sitting, talking, hearing, using hands, stooping, kneeling, bending, rotating, pushing, pulling, reaching, standing, and walking. The employee must lift or move up to 50 pounds, frequently 25 pounds, and climb ladders up to 20 feet. Working in tight, confined spaces may be required. Regular and on‑time attendance is essential.
