We are partnering with a well-established healthcare organization seeking an experienced Controller to lead day-to-day financial operations and provide strategic oversight across accounting, compliance, and reporting functions. This role works closely with executive leadership and plays a critical role in financial planning, risk management, and long-term sustainability. Location: Anchorage, AK. Pay: DOE. What you’ll do

Oversee all accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, and cost accounting Ensure accurate and timely federal, state, and local tax filings Lead financial audits and act as primary liaison with external auditors Maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial compliance standards Oversee benefits audits and regulatory reporting requirements Partner with revenue cycle teams to optimize collections and reduce denials Supervise, mentor, and develop finance team members Advise leadership on financial performance, risks, and operational trends Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA, CMA, or Master’s degree strongly preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting or financial management experience Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance standards Proven leadership and team management experience High attention to detail with the ability to operate strategically Benefits
