Audit Manager – Global Payment Network
Capital One is seeking an energetic, self‑motivated Audit Manager to join our Audit team with a focus on the global payments network, including credit/debit processing, authorization, clearing & settlement and digital payments.
Responsibilities
Plan, perform, and lead large/complex audits at the enterprise level and across business lines.
Perform risk assessments of business activities, potential exposures and materiality of loss.
Design and perform audit procedures, including identifying and defining issues, reviewing and analysing evidence, and documenting processes.
Leverage data and analytical tools during planning, fieldwork and reporting phases.
Compile findings and recommendations into concise audit reports.
Communicate results to management via written reports and oral presentations.
Contribute to the development of the annual audit plan.
Execute internal control testing for standardized operations of moderate complexity.
Provide risk management advice to business leadership.
Maintain good working relationships with line management and auditees.
Manage audit work and project resources, providing feedback to junior auditors.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience.
At least 5 years of experience in internal or external auditing, accounting, financial analysis, information systems, compliance, risk management or a combination within banking or financial services industry.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
3+ years leading audits and performing auditor-in-charge role.
2+ years experience with payment technologies such as HPE Nonstop, IBM Mainframe, Mobile Payments, tokenized services, cloud-based and virtualized environments, Windows and Linux operating environments.
2+ years experience in payments network industry including the MANIC model, network participant roles, PCI standards, and international payment regulations.
2+ years experience at a leading public accounting or consulting firm in a highly regulated payment network environment.
Professional certification such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CPA, or CIA.
